How to deposit at Dragonia, step by step
This page explains how to deposit into a Dragonia account held in euro — the sequence inside the cashier, the minimum deposit on each rail, how long the money takes to appear and the two or three things that go wrong often enough to be worth naming. We are an independent review portal, not the operator: nothing here is processed by us, and the numbers come from transfers we ran ourselves. The other half of the story is on the withdrawal page, and the full comparison lives on the payments hub. The site starts at the homepage.
The four steps in the cashier
Nothing about the sequence is unusual, which is exactly what you want from a cashier. It took us under a minute end to end on the wallet rails.
- Sign in and open the Cashier, then the Deposit tab.
- Pick a rail from the deposit methods on offer — the ones available to an Italian account are listed in the table below.
- Type an amount at or above that rail's floor. The panel shows the floor next to the method, so there is no guessing.
- Confirm in your home banking, your wallet app or your crypto wallet. The balance updates as soon as the payment provider reports success.
One rule governs everything that follows: the sending account must carry the same name as the gaming account. Third-party payments are refused on principle, and a card in a partner's name is the single most common reason a first top-up bounces back.
Deposit methods and the minimum deposit on each
The minimum deposit is set per method rather than once for the account, and the spread is real: €20 on the wallets and cards, €25 on a SEPA bank transfer, roughly €50 on the crypto rails where a smaller sum would be eaten by the network fee.
| Method | Minimum deposit | Credit time | Fee from the casino |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustly | €20 | Instant | None |
| Skrill | €20 | Instant | None |
| Paysafecard | €20 | Instant | None |
| Visa | €20 | Instant | None |
| Mastercard | €20 | Instant | None |
| Bank transfer (SEPA) | €25 | Same or next business day | None (bank may charge) |
| USDT (TRC-20 / ERC-20) | ≈€50 | Minutes, after confirmations | None (network fee applies) |
| Litecoin | ≈€50 | Minutes, after confirmations | None (network fee applies) |
| Bitcoin | ≈€50 | Minutes, after confirmations | None (network fee applies) |
Which rails give you an instant deposit
An instant deposit means the balance moves while you are still looking at the confirmation screen, and five rails behave that way here: Trustly, Skrill, paysafecard, Visa and Mastercard. Trustly is the interesting one for Italy — it opens your own home banking in a window, you approve with the credentials you already use, and no card number is typed anywhere.
A SEPA bonifico is the exception. It is a real bank transfer with real banking hours: send it before your bank's cut-off and it usually lands the same day, send it on Friday evening and Monday is realistic. Crypto sits in between — the transfer is not instant, but network confirmations take minutes rather than office hours, which is why it does not care about weekends.
Fund account for the first time: a sensible test run
When you fund account balances for the first time on any casino, the smart move is a minimum top-up rather than the sum you actually intend to play with. Twenty euro is enough to confirm three things: that the rail credits, that the name check passes, and that nothing is deducted in transit. Only once that round trip is proven is it worth moving a larger amount.
Two caveats belong here. The welcome offer has its own qualifying amount, generally above the cashier floor, so a €20 top-up may land without the bonus attached — read the bonus terms before you decide the size of the first deposit. And the same-method rule means the rail you choose now is the rail your winnings will return through later, which makes paysafecard a poor first choice: it cannot receive payouts at all.
Currency, limits and what it costs
An account registered from Italy is denominated in euro, so a card or bank account held in euro moves money at face value with no conversion anywhere. Fund it from a unit other than EUR and the bank converts at its own rate with its own margin, then possibly converts back on the way out — a cost that never appears as a line item but shows up in the difference between what you sent and what landed.
On the operator's own side there is no deposit fee in either the small print or our test transfers. Costs that do exist belong to the rail: a bank may bill a SEPA transfer outside its free allowance, and every blockchain charges a network fee. Deposit ceilings are generous enough that ordinary play never meets them; the caps worth knowing are on the payout side, at €5,000 per day and €30,000 per month.
If the deposit has not shown up
Start by confirming where the money actually is. A card payment that shows as authorised but not captured, a SEPA transfer sent after cut-off, or a crypto transfer still waiting for confirmations are all cases where nothing is lost and nothing needs fixing — the transfer simply has not finished.
If the money has definitely left and the balance is unchanged, the usual causes are an amount below the method's floor, a mismatch between the sender's name and the account name, or, with crypto, the wrong network chosen at the sending end. Keep the receipt or transaction hash and pass it to the operator's live chat, which runs 24/7 alongside an email address; a specific transfer is traced by that reference and by nothing else.
