Dragonia Registration: How the Account Is Opened
What the operator's form asks for, what it does not, and where new players in Italy get stuck.
This page describes the sign up procedure at Dragonia from the outside: we walked through it ourselves while preparing our Dragonia review, wrote down each field and timed how long each stage took. dragonia.io is an independent review portal, not the casino, so nothing here is a form you can fill in with us — it is a description of what the operator asks and how the process behaves in Italy, where accounts are held in euro.
How to Register at Dragonia: the Steps in Order
The registration flow follows the pattern used across the regulated European market and took a little under three minutes in our test. The confirmation email arrived within a minute; nothing else stood between the form and the lobby.
- Open the operator's site and use the button marked Sign Up or Join in the top corner of the page.
- Enter an email address, a phone number and a password that is not reused anywhere else.
- Fill in first name, surname, date of birth and address exactly as they appear on your ID document.
- Pick euro as the account currency and, if the form offers a bonus selector, decide whether you want the offer at all.
- Tick the age and terms boxes, then confirm the address through the link in the email or the code sent by SMS.
- Set a deposit limit in the profile before the first payment — it takes ten seconds and is far harder to add once you are playing.
The account exists as soon as step six is done. Everything else, including verification and the first payment, happens inside the operator's cabinet.
Before You Create Account: What to Have Ready
The single reason a registration goes wrong later is data that does not match the documents. To create account details that survive verification, keep an ID document in front of you and copy the name and date of birth from it letter for letter, including accents and double surnames.
You also need an email address you actually read, a mobile number that can receive an SMS code, and the age of majority: gambling in Italy is restricted to adults over 18. One profile per person is the rule at essentially every licensed operator, so a household sharing a device still needs separate email addresses.
Registration Bonus: Welcome Package, Promo Code and How to Claim
A registration bonus is what the operator attaches to a fresh account: extra funds on the first payment, free spins, or a staged welcome package spread over the first few deposits. At Dragonia the sign up bonus is applied when the qualifying deposit lands, and the welcome bonus screen shows the wagering requirement before you accept — but the full terms sit on a separate page, which is exactly the detail that cost the operator points in our scoring.
The usual shape of a first deposit bonus is a match bonus: the operator mirrors what you pay in, typically advertised as 100% up to a stated cap. If the offer needs a promo code, the field appears either in the registration form or in the cashier at the moment of payment; where an operator requires a promo code on registration it will not normally add the offer retroactively, so an empty field means a lost bonus. A bonus on sign up with no deposit at all is rarer and much smaller, and always carries the heaviest wagering. Read the conditions in the welcome bonus guide before ticking anything: an accepted offer cannot be cancelled halfway through.
Login and Account Access: Sign In, Log In, Password Recovery
Once registration is complete the page switches to the sign in view and the login button stays in the top corner of every screen. You log in with the email and password chosen during the form, and the dashboard opens on the device where the account was created.
If the password slips your mind, the forgot password link sits directly under the entry fields: the operator sends a reset message to the registered address or a code by phone, and a new password can be set in under a minute. Account access from an unfamiliar phone or laptop may trigger an extra confirmation code — a routine check rather than a fault. If a reset email never arrives, the spam folder is the first place to look and the operator's live chat, described on our support page, is the second.
Account Verification (KYC): Documents and Timing
Before the first payout the operator runs an account verification, the standard KYC procedure that confirms a real adult of legal age owns the profile. In our test it was requested once and closed in 24 to 48 hours; afterwards the withdrawals we made went through without any further document request.
To verify account ownership you upload documents in the cabinet — the site also confirms contact details through email/phone verification, sending a code to the address and the number used in the form. The table below lists what the operator asked for and what makes a file bounce back.
| Document | What is accepted | Typical reason for rejection |
|---|---|---|
| Identity document | Passport, national ID card or driving licence, all four corners visible | Cropped edges, glare over the photo, expired document |
| Selfie with the document | Face and document readable in the same frame | Blurred image, document held at an angle |
| Proof of address | Utility bill or bank statement from the last three months | Address that differs from the one in the form |
| Proof of payment method | Card with the middle digits hidden, or a wallet screenshot | Payment instrument registered to another name |
Mobile Registration and App Registration
Mobile registration uses the same form as the desktop version, only laid out for a narrow screen: identical fields, identical bonus selector, identical verification rules. If you register on mobile through the browser there is nothing to install, and the profile created there works everywhere you sign in afterwards.
App registration is possible wherever the operator publishes its own application, and the steps inside it mirror the browser form. Should you decide to download app files, take them from the official site only — details of what does and does not exist for Android and iOS are on our download page. The practical rule we would follow: open the account in a browser on a full-size screen, then install the application and simply log in, because a mistyped email is much easier to spot before it is confirmed.
Cannot Register: Restricted Country, Blocked Account, Refused Form
When a sign-up fails the cause is usually one of a handful of standard checks rather than a technical fault. Operators must refuse players under 18, decline a restricted country their licence does not cover, and enforce the one-account rule automatically — a second attempt with the same email, phone or document is rejected on sight. A name spelled differently from the ID document stops the form just as effectively.
Seeing an account blocked immediately after registration most often means a verification hold or a suspected duplicate, not a permanent ban. The only party that can look into a registration problem is the operator: write to Dragonia support from the address used in the form, describe the exact step that failed and attach documents if they are requested. We publish reviews and guides — we cannot open, unblock or inspect any account, and nobody asking you for documents on our behalf is legitimate.
Legality in Italy: the Check Worth Doing Before You Join
Italy is a regulated market, and only sites holding an ADM concession — the former AAMS — are a legal channel for residents. Before you open account anywhere, find the concession number in the operator's footer and search for it in the public list of licensees on adm.gov.it; if the operator does not appear, that is a reason to stop rather than a formality.
The same page of small print covers the rest of the frame: 18+ only, self-exclusion tools available from the profile, and the national gambling helpline 800 558 822, run by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, alongside giocaresponsabile.it and the association AND (Azzardo e Nuove Dipendenze) if play stops being entertainment. Our responsible gambling page collects those resources in one place.
What Happens After the First Deposit
Once the account is live, the cashier is the next stop. The minimum is €20 with Trustly, Skrill, Paysafecard or a card, €25 by bank transfer and around €50 in crypto; the balance is held in euro and the casino charges no fee of its own. The stated payout ceilings are €5,000 a day and €30,000 a month, and the method-by-method timings we measured are set out in the payments section.
From there the catalogue of 450+ titles opens up — slots, live tables and table games are grouped in Games. Support runs on live chat 24/7 and by email; there is no telephone number, which is worth knowing before you need one.
