Bank transfer at Dragonia: the SEPA bonifico route

Bank transfer is the slowest rail in this cashier and the one most Italian players trust instinctively, because it is simply a bonifico between two IBANs inside the SEPA area. There is no wallet in the middle and no card number anywhere. This guide covers both directions — money in and money out — with the euro figures the operator publishes and the timings we measured. We are an independent review portal, not the operator; the cashier belongs to Dragonia and everything below is what we observed from a normal player account. Start of the review: the homepage.

Bank transfer at a glance: deposit and withdrawal

DirectionMinimumTimeFees
Deposit€25Same or next business dayNone from the casino; the bank may charge
Withdrawal€251–3 business daysNone from the casino; the bank may charge

Both floors sit at €25 rather than the €20 that applies on the wallet rails, and the reason is prosaic: a bonifico costs the same to handle whether it moves €25 or €2,500, so the entry point is set a little higher.

How a deposit by bonifico works

In the cashier you pick bank transfer and the panel returns the beneficiary IBAN together with a reference code. That code is not decorative — it is how the finance desk matches an incoming payment to your account, and a transfer sent without it is the classic reason a deposit sits unmatched for a day. Copy it into the causale field exactly as shown.

Everything after that happens inside your own home banking, at your bank's pace. Send before your bank's cut-off on a working day and the money generally lands the same day; send on a Saturday and Monday is realistic. The name on the sending account has to match the name on the gaming account, because a payout can only travel back to the person who sent the money in the first place.

How a withdrawal by bank transfer works

On the way out the request is filed in the Withdrawal tab with your own IBAN as the destination. The minimum is €25 and the operator states a payout window of 1–3 business days, of which its own approval is the shorter part — the rest is interbank transit that no casino controls. The global ceilings apply here as everywhere: €5,000 per day and €30,000 per month across all methods combined.

Read that window with a calendar in hand. A request filed on Friday evening is realistically in your account on Tuesday, because business days exclude the weekend at both ends. If speed matters more than familiarity, Trustly moves the same money between the same bank accounts in one to two hours, and the general comparison is set out under how to withdraw.

Fees, limits and what your bank might add

The operator declares no charge in either direction, and in our transfers the credited amount matched the sum sent. The cost that can still appear is your bank's own: many Italian current accounts include a number of free SEPA transfers per month and bill the ones beyond it, and a transfer sent from outside the SEPA area is a different, dearer product entirely.

Limits are unremarkable on the way in — ordinary play never meets a deposit ceiling — and firm on the way out, where the daily €5,000 cap means a large win is released in instalments over consecutive days rather than in one movement.

When to choose this rail, and when not to

A bonifico earns its place for larger amounts and for players who would rather keep gambling activity inside their normal banking relationship, with a paper trail that any accountant would recognise. It is also the fallback the operator nominates when the original deposit rail cannot receive money, which is exactly the situation a paysafecard balance creates.

It is the wrong choice if you want your winnings the same evening, or if you deposit small amounts often, where the €25 floor and the banking-day rhythm both work against you. In that case a wallet rail is the better tool — see how to deposit for the alternatives and the payments hub for the full table.

How long does a bank transfer payout take?
One to three business days once the operator has approved it. Weekends and Italian bank holidays are not business days, so a Friday request typically settles early the following week.
What is the minimum for a bonifico here?
€25 in each direction, against €20 on the wallet rails. The floor is the same going in and coming out.
Can I send from an account that is not in my name?
No. The sending IBAN must belong to the account holder — money returns only to the person who sent it, so a transfer from a partner's or parent's account is refused.
Does anyone charge a fee?
Not the casino, according to the operator and to our own test transfers. Your bank may bill a SEPA transfer that falls outside its free monthly allowance.
