Codes at Dragonia: which offers need one, and where it goes
A promo code is a short key that unlocks a specific campaign in the cashier. Most offers here do not use one — they activate with a simple opt-in — but knowing how the system works is the cheapest protection against the fake codes scattered across aggregator sites.
dragonia.io is an independent review portal, not the operator. We do not issue codes, and we deliberately publish none: a code quoted in an article is out of date the moment the campaign behind it rotates.

Three sources, and no others: the operator's promotions page, notifications inside your account, and the official contact channels listed on the site. When a live campaign requires a bonus code, its own terms say so explicitly and show the field.
Everything circulating on forums and code-collection pages should be treated as expired until proven otherwise. That is not cynicism — it is arithmetic, since campaigns rotate weekly and those pages are rarely updated at all.
How to use promo code fields correctly
The sequence below is what worked in our own account, and the order is the whole trick. Getting it wrong is the reason most codes appear not to work when they are perfectly valid.
- Log in and open the cashier or promotions area — never a third-party form.
- Find the code field on the offer itself. Some campaigns auto-apply and show no field at all.
- Paste the code exactly as published. Case can matter, and a trailing space is a common cause of failure.
- Confirm and check that the offer displays as active on the account.
- Only then send the qualifying deposit — €20 with Trustly or Skrill, €25 by bank transfer.
- Screenshot the active confirmation. It takes three seconds and settles any later disagreement immediately.
Validity, one-use limits and why entries fail
Every code carries a start date, an expiry date and usually a one-use-per-account limit, all set in the promotion's terms. A rejection is almost never a malfunction: the window has closed, the code has already been redeemed on that account, or the offer is restricted to a segment you are not in.

Coupon, voucher, bonus code: the same thing under different names
The terminology is inconsistent across the industry and it confuses people unnecessarily. A coupon code, a voucher code and a bonus code all describe the same object here: a string entered in the cashier that attaches a specific campaign to your account. There is no hierarchy between them and no hidden category that pays more.

Spotting an invented code
There is no secret string that pays more than the officially announced offer. Any page promising exclusive access while asking for a fee, a login or a one-time verification code is a scam wearing a casino theme. The reliable filter takes ten seconds: open the operator's promotions page and see whether the campaign is there.

Does the welcome offer need a code at all?
In every campaign we tested it did not — the match attached itself to the qualifying deposit automatically. Codes appear on channel-specific variants and occasional seasonal deals. If the promotion page shows no field and mentions no code, there is nothing you are missing out on.
The code is rejected. What now?
Check three things in order: the validity dates on the promotion, whether the offer is limited to one use per account, and whether you are pasting a trailing space. If two attempts fail, stop and open live chat rather than retrying, since repeated failed entries can be read as suspicious activity by automated systems.
I entered the code but no bonus was credited.
The usual cause is order: the code has to be active on the account before the deposit clears, not after. Take a screenshot of the offer page and the confirmation, then contact support with the deposit timestamp. Cases with a screenshot are settled in one message far more often than cases described from memory.
Are exclusive codes from other websites real?
Occasionally, when a channel has a genuine agreement with the operator. Far more often they are expired or invented. The test is simple: a real code is verifiable through the operator's own page, and no real code ever requires a fee, a password or a one-time verification code to activate.
